All our installations are carried out by our time served joiners with a wealth of experience, we can therefore ensure your complete peace of mind and satisfaction throughout your installation. Afterwards we call to inspect all aspects of your installation and will continue to look after your interests into the future.
PRODUCTS
No Knots
Only engineered defect free timber is used on our timber product range allowing the Lakeland Window Company to offer a high specification window without the age-old problem of resin exudation.
High Security As Standard
Our timber and pvcu windows and doors come complete with easy clean hinges and an espagnolette locking system and comply with BS7950 enhanced security and ‘secured by design’ as standard.
Energy Saving Design
The design of our timber and pvcu windows has taken into account the growing need for conserving energy within the home. By using soft coat, low-e glass and argon to fill the cavity, all our windows achieve a u-value of 1.37W/m2K, which is far lower than the required u-value of 2.0W/m2K, giving the customer a product that will assist in cutting down the cost of heating the home.
Peace of Mind
All our timber products are independently tested by the BSI, TRADA scheme and accredited under the ‘Secured by Design’ initiative (see credentials page).

The Lakeland Window Company & The Environment
FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) is accredited to all of our timber product range and is endorsed by World Wild Life Fund, Green Peace and the Government. By using only certified timber from well managed sources, the Lakeland Window Company can offer a product that is environmentally sound in both the raw material used and the production methods used in its manufacture.
We use ‘calcium organic’ profiles for all our PVCU products which do not contain lead or zinc which is common place in most pvcu. This means our windows are not harmful to the environment.
Durability- Paint System
We use a four-stage treatment process in its paint or stain finish allowing us to give exceptional guarantees on all of our timber products. In addition to this any RAL colour can be used at no extra cost and dual colour finishes are also available.
